What is BYDTWD?
2024 is a very special year for the RSPCA as it reaches a 200 year anniversary! And as we are part of an independent network of local RSPCA Branches, we wanted to mark the occasion this June with a special event #BringYourDogToWorkDay and let’s be real, who doesn’t want a furry four-legged assistant for the day?
To celebrate, we’re asking you to choose a date in June to invite your canine companion to work with you and donate or raise funds for our Animal Centre… your boss can’t possibly say no when you’re supporting local pets in need!
How can I raise funds for you?
There’s loads of fun ways you can raise funds. Here’s just a few ideas…
–Ask your employees to donate in return for a doggy cuddle!
-Set up a collection tin at your workplace for the week
-Arrange a bake sale, asking colleagues to bring an item to sell
-Host a coffee morning to collect donations over a warm cuppa
-Hold a non-uniform day and collect 50p/£1 donations
Who can get involved?
Anyone can join in the fun, so long as your work environment is safe enough for a doggo!
Already work from home? Amazing – then you’re good to go!
