We’re excited to announce that you can now donate your unwanted items (up to 10kg) in the post…. for free! Whether it’s clothes, books, toys or homeware, simply pack it up, print off your postage label and pop it in the post to us, how great is that?

We know it’s often hard to find the time to drop off any unwanted items or maybe you work full time and want to donate but you just can’t get to one of our charity shops in time? Well, this is the perfect solution, carry on reading to find out more about how it works and how to get your FREE postage label in an instant!

What is it?

We’re working with ClickSit to help our supporters donate their unwanted goods to our charity shops in the Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford areas. After an incredibly tough year, we need your donations to help us survive and continue our rehabilitation and rehoming work for the countless animals in need who arrive through our doors each day.

ClickSit postal donations won’t cost you a penny and you can bag up your items in your time, post when you like from your local Collect+ store and voila! – it’s that easy!

This brand new service is the perfect way to support us, by helping us stock our charity shops, online shops and eBay store – raising the vital funds we need in order to keep our Wade Street Animal Centre open.

How do I send my items?

First of all, you’ll need to get your free post label by clicking the link above and entering your email address. You’ll then be emailed your label which will need to be printed and attached to your package. Now all you need to do is fill your box/package to the following dimensions (Height 60cm, Width 50cm, Depth 50cm) and to a maximum weight of 10kg.

Where do I send my items?

To send your donation box, simply find your local Collect+ store and drop your package off, wait to receive a notification from us that this has been received. Please remember to packagge your items appropriately – should anything break, sadly, we can’t take responsibility for the condition the boxes arrive in. There are currently 7500 Collect + store locations across the UK, find your closest drop-off point using the link above.

What can I post?

We are truly grateful for all of your donations to help us raise vital funds for animals in need, see below a list a of what we can accept and what we can’t to help you sort your items before sending…

We accept:

– Quality clothes and shoes

– Soft furnishings (eg cushions)

– Crockery/Cutlery

– Toys/Games/Books/DVD’s/CD’s/Working Electricals

– Toiletry Sets

– Working laptops/mobiles

We can’t accept:

– Weapons

– Toys without a CE Mark

– Home CD’s/DVD’s etc

– Animal fur/ivory or any such product

– Single shoes

– Used toiletries

Please also make sure that any items sent to us are in good, complete and working condition so that we can re-sell, items below this quality we’re unable to sell and we would advise you dispose of them with your local council – thank you!

Gift Aid:

If you are elligible for Gift Aid please leave a note with your full name and address in the box – as this way we can claim gift back after your items have sold – helping us to raise even more funds from your donation!
