Say hello to our sweet boy Nick!
Nick came to the centre from the inspectors due to welfare concerns along with two other cats who have now both been rehomed. He is our longest stay cat and seems to get overlooked for the younger more confident felines in our care, so we think it is time that he finds his happily ever after. Nick can be a shy boy with strangers at first but with a bit of time and patience he comes out of his shell and will approach you for some fuss. He will need space to settle into his new home and we think it may be best if he goes to a home where there are no dogs. As Nick has lived with cats in the past he may be okay to live with another one as long as their characters are similar. Nick has not been around children so we are looking for either an adult only home or a family with sensible older children. He is currently in a foster home and we are looking for a home similar to the setup he has at the moment.
As he is 11 years old he qualifies for the Elderly Animal Rehoming Scheme (EARS) which has a number of benefits for people living in the Halifax, Huddersfield or Bradford area. If you would like to know more information the EARS scheme or are interested in adopting Nick please contact us on 01422 365628 or email email@example.com
