Say hello to our sweet guy Nick, a lovely 11 year old cat looking for a new home!
Nick is currently our longest stay cat so we would love him to finally find his happily ever after.
Nick came into our care from the inspectors due to welfare concerns in his previous home. He can be shy at first and will need some time to settle in but once he has got a bond with you he is your best friend. The bond he has with his fosterer is lovely, however Nick would love a permanent place to call his own. The fosterer thinks that Nick is her longest foster cat and she is so surprised by this because of his sweet gentle nature. Once he gets to know you he likes to be stroked and curl up on your knee for a nap. He also enjoys playing with his favourite toys which is a toy on a string and ping pong balls. Nick would be best suited to a home with no dogs so he is not too stressed by the other noises or smells of the dog, we believe he would also be better as the only cat in the home as he has shown signs that he is stressed when around other cats. Nick has not been around children but as long as they are sensible, of secondary school age, understand that he needs a lot of time to settle before fussing over him and the most important bit!
As he is 11 years old he qualifies for the Elderly Animal Rehoming Scheme (EARS) which has a number of benefits for people living in the Halifax, Huddersfield or Bradford area. However if you do not live in these areas the adoption fee for Nick is £35.
