Unlucky in love Max seeks paw-fect match
‘Ladies’ man’ Max has waved three girlfriends off to new homes while he waits paw-tiently for his soulmate...
A lovable ‘ladies’ man’ who has been waiting to find a new home for more than eight months has seen three of his girlfriends trot off to their forever families and is hoping it’ll be his turn next!
Two-year-old Max has been at the RSPCA’s Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District branch since last year and is desperate to find his paw-fect match.
“Max is a real ladies’ man and has wooed many of our female residents here at the centre. Sheeva was his branch girlfriend until she went off to her new home. Then he moved onto Bonnie who was then reserved, and next it was Rose - who has also now found her home.
“Max just seems to be really unlucky in love and we feel it must be time for him to find his soulmate!?”
Max, also known as Big Max, is a large dog with an even bigger character! He’s a young, intelligent boy with bags of energy.
Max has lots of energy to burn and is looking for a soulmate who can take him for long, romantic walks.
We feel he’d be best going to a patient, experienced owner who can help guide him onto a path to success. When he’s focused in training he’s a superstar and we know he has real potential.
He is a big lad and can be strong so he’ll need someone who can handle him. As is evident from his string of girlfriends, Max loves other dogs and we think he’d really love living with an older, calmer dog who can help him with his manners when socialising.
Due to his bouncy enthusiasm, Max is looking for an adult-only home without cats. He’d love to have access to a large and secure garden and would be perfect in a rural area where he can run and play.
Max has seen all of his girlfriends and so many of his pooch pals go off to their new homes and he’s feeling very unloved and lonely!
He’s got so much love to give and we really want to find his soulmate - we know you’re out there! If you think you can offer this unlucky-in-love lad a loving new home, please get in touch:
