WOULD YOU LIKE TO BECOME A TRUSTEE OF OUR CHARITY?
If you have at any time considered volunteering for the RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District branch, perhaps you have skills to become a trustee? This RSPCA branch is separately registered as a charity and its operation is overseen by an independent board of trustees responsible for the governance and effectiveness of the branch.
The skills we need are many and varied, and may be skills you have used during your working life and have been attained through work experiences as much as – or even rather than - through qualifications. For instance, do you have experience or qualifications in any of the following:
Project management; people management and communication; legal knowledge particularly with contracts or HR legislation; accountancy or audit; risk assessment; public service; IT; retail management; business management and/or development; fundraising and income generation.
There are many reasons for people volunteering their time; perhaps you are retired or are about to retire? Perhaps you have been made redundant and are job seeking where being able to include volunteering to charity would enhance your CV.? Whatever your reasons, we would like to hear from you if you have a passion for animals and animal welfare is important to you.
