We would like to extend a warm welcome to all customers in our new RSPCA Charity shop situated in the heart of Sowerby Bridge.

We have a wide range of stock, including all the usual things you would expect to find, and hopefully certain things you would not - such as an extensive range of electrical goods and small furniture items - all at bargain prices. Additionally we offer a delivery service for a small charge. However, we will collect donations free of charge.

Our shop has a very welcoming atmosphere and we are always on the lookout for volunteers to assist us in the day to day running of the shop. We are grateful for any time you can offer, even if it is just an hour here and there. It all makes a difference.

All money raised from this shop and our other shops in the Halifax and Huddersfield District go directly to our Animal Centre at Wade Street, Halifax, so you can be assured that you really are making a difference when you shop with us.

So, if you are looking for a bargain, wanting to donate goods, or even to give some of your spare time, then please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team. Why should you even consider donating some of your valuable time? You can be sure of a warm welcome. Just phone Sarah for an informal chat.

Do you know that many of the charity bags that end up on your doorstep only give the charity a small percentage of the total value? Sometimes as little as 10% ! If you want to donate, please bring things to the shop - that way ALL of what you give goes towards the care of the animals at the RSPCA in Halifax. We espeacially need clothes, handbags, shoes bric a brac and other house hold items. We also accept unwanted electrical items that are still working and furniture. Larger items of furniture can be collected free by contacting our King Cross shop on 01422 362 461. Nothing goes to waste if it cant be sold we will recycle it.

We greatfully accept all donations (even rags) but we are especially interested in bric-a-brac and glassware. Remember - just because YOU don't like it, doesn't mean that others won't LOVE it!

We very much look forward to seeing you!
