With just one day left until Catnapped in Memory of Stan & Stu, there’s still time to be part of something truly meaningful.
This fundraiser was born from heartbreak. Back in December, our Catnapped event had to be postponed when our cattery faced a serious case of feline panleukopenia – a devastating and highly contagious virus. Despite weeks of intensive care, love and dedication, we tragically lost two tiny kittens, Stan and Stu. Their loss broke our hearts, but their story has strengthened our determination to protect and care for animals who need us most.
Over the past few months, our team has worked tirelessly behind the scenes. The cattery was placed into strict lockdown, every resident was protected, and we’re incredibly relieved to say the virus is now gone and all our cats are thriving.
Now, Catnapped is finally happening this Sunday January 18th, and this fundraiser is our way of turning grief into hope, honouring Stan and Stu’s memory while supporting the amazing people taking part.
By donating, you’ll be helping to:
-
Support our Catnapped participants
-
Provide emergency care for cats and kittens like Sandie, Stan and Stu
-
Fund our Really Big Refurb, keeping our centre safe and welcoming
There is just one day to go, but it’s not too late to make a difference. Every donation, big or small, helps ensure that Stan and Stu’s legacy lives on through the lives we save next.
