We are rapidly approaching one of favourite times of the year, Valentails, where we celebrate the day of love and make sure that our animals are included too!
The last few years, we have invited local schools to write Valentine’s cards and messages to the animals in our care, and show them how loved they really are whilst waiting for their forever homes. We have been blown away by the responses and absolutely loved reading all the special messages!
This year, thanks to The Really Big ReFURb, things have been looking a bit different at our animal centre. The animal centre team have been working extra hard to make sure that the animals are not affected by the building works, making sure that they are as well-cared for and loved as ever, come rain, snow or shine!
That’s why this year, we are inviting local students to write a Valentine’s message to our incredible animal centre team instead, and help keep their spirits up whilst the centre undergoes its transformation. We’d be delighted if children from your class, school, after-school club, or community group, were to create a message of love and encouragement to the staff, which we will display in our animal centre as a boost to morale and to show just how much all their hard work is appreciated.
