What a day! We’re still smiling after an incredible K9 Party in the Park, and we wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the event such a special occasion.
From the moment the gates opened, it was wonderful to see so many dogs, their families, and members of our local community come together for a fun-filled day in support of our work. Your support, enthusiasm, and generosity mean so much to us, and events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without you.
A special shout-out has to go to all of the amazing dogs who took part in our dog show! We loved seeing so many happy faces (and wagging tails) competing across the different classes. Whether they were showing off their best tricks, their fabulous personalities, or simply enjoying their moment in the spotlight, every single dog helped make the show a fantastic celebration of our four-legged friends.
We’d also like to say a massive thank you to all of the local businesses who joined us with stalls on the day. Your support helped create such a brilliant atmosphere, gave visitors plenty to browse and enjoy, and showcased the wonderful businesses we’re lucky to have in our community.
We are incredibly grateful to all of our event sponsors too. Your generosity and support helped us bring K9 Party in the Park to life and will make a real difference to our fundraising efforts. We truly appreciate you getting behind our cause and helping us continue the work we do.
A huge thank you also goes to the businesses and individuals who donated baked goods, raffle prizes, and treats for our goodie bags. Your kindness and generosity added so much to the day and helped us create extra excitement for everyone who attended.
We’re still finalising the figures, but we’re currently expecting to raise around £7,000 after expenses – an amazing amount that will make a huge difference to our fundraising for the Really Big ReFURb. This support will help us continue improving our facilities and providing the best possible care for the animals who need us.
Finally, thank you to every person who attended, donated, volunteered, sponsored, baked, brought a raffle prize, entered the dog show, or simply came along to enjoy the day. Your support means the world to us, and we couldn’t do what we do without you.
