We are not licensed to take in stray dogs. Stray dogs should be taken reported to your local dog warden. Please not there is no out of hours dog warden service, the emergency number is for advice only.

If you have found an sick or injured stray cat, please contact our cruelty and advice line 0300 1234 999 for assistance. If you have found a healthy stray cat in Kirklees/Calderdale, please contact the shelter on 01422 365628 and we will log it in our lost and found, alternatively enter the details on our online service. Please do not bring stray cats to the Centre unless we have told you that we have space for it. We run at full capacity all the time and our priority is to assist the most abused animals that are being rescued by our Inspectors.
