Virtual Cat Show
August 8th – 22nd @ Online
This August we’re celebrating all things feline and kicking off the month with our annual Virtual Cat Show! Entries can be submitted from August 8th and we’ll be hosting a live stream event directly from our Animal Centre announcing our winners!
Paws at the Pub 2024
August 17th, 12-4pm @ The Foxglove, Kirkburton
We had such a brilliant time with our friends at The Foxglove, Kirkburton last year that we’ve decided to do it all over again this August! Bring your furry friends and join us for an afternoon of fun and games in a beautiful setting. We can’t wait!
Canine Carriages
August 23rd, 2.30pm
What better way to kick off a bank holiday weekend than a train ride for you and your dogs!? Whistlestop Valley Light Railway have kindly allowed us to take over their last train of the day for a gentle ride through the Pennine foothills…and dogs aren’t just welcome, but encouraged! There’s even a stop for ice cream half way through and plenty of other things going on at the station at Clayton West. Hope to see you there!
Parish Puppy Party
August 25th, 12-4pm @ Parish, Huddersfield
It’s not summer without a Parish Puppy Party! Join us on August Bank Holiday weekend for our mini fun dog show, pawty games, doggy artwork and more! Plus great food and drinks to suit every taste from our friends at Parish – get ready for bags of fun!
Beaumont Barks
Sunday 1st September – 12-3pm @ Beaumont Barks
Join us for a day of barking good fun as we host our annual Beaumont Barks dog show in the beautiful settings of Huddersfield’s’ Beaumont Park! With special thanks to Friends of Beaumont Park for all their support and providing the refreshment on the day too!
Elland Vintage Fair & Dog Show
Sunday 15th September – 12-3pm @ Elland Cricket Club
We’re back at the fantastic Elland Vintage Fair & Car Show this September! Come and join our 10 class fun dog show and see if you and your doggo can take home an official RSPCA rosette! See you soon.
Shibden Dog Day 2024
Saturday 28th September – 12-4pm @ Shibden Park
Everyone loves Shibden Dog Day! A great day out in a beautiful setting with a fun dog show, stalls and have-a-go agility and more. A brilliant day come rain or shine, you’ll have a ball!
Animal Blessing Service, Halifax
Sunday 6th October – 2-3pm @ Halifax Minster
Fun Dog Show with Kershaw’s Garden Centre
Saturday 12th October – 2-4pm @ Kershaw’s, Brighouse
Hosted by our friends at Kershaw’s, we’ll be running and judging a fun dog show, and bringing along lots of goodies and games. Make an afternoon out of it and have some lunch at the Enchanted Wood Cafe!

Christmas Fair & Open Day
Sunday 1st December – 12-3pm @ RSPCA Wade Street Centre
We’ll be opening the doors of our Centre to welcome in the festive season and all of our lovely supporters! Expect Mulled Wine, Music, Gifts, Sweet Treats, Home Produce, Games, Selfies with Santa and a fabulous Raffle! All to help raise vital funds for our furry friends looking for homes this Christmas.
