Meet Some of Our Long Stay Residents Looking for Homes

At the RSPCA Halifax Huddersfield Bradford and District Branch, some animals wait a little longer than others to find their forever homes –  but every one of them deserves a second chance at happiness.

Here are three of our long-stay residents still searching for the loving families they deserve.

Meatball – Waiting 53 Days

Tiny in size but full of personality, Meatball is an inquisitive dwarf bunny who loves exploring, digging through hay, and accepting treats from people he trusts. He’s looking for a calm, patient home with a neutered female rabbit companion to keep him company.

Lulu – Waiting 151 Days

Lulu is a playful and affectionate girl who adores cuddles, toys, and attention. She’ll happily greet visitors with loud purrs and demands for fuss. Lulu would love to be the only pet in an adult or older-child home with safe outdoor access.

Mittens – Waiting 87 Days

Currently thriving in foster care, Mittens is a gentle tuxedo cat who simply needs time and patience to build trust. Once comfortable, she shows her playful and affectionate side. She’s looking for a quiet adult-only home where she can settle at her own pace.

Could you give one of these deserving animals the happy ending they’ve been waiting for?
