Thank you Salterlee Primary School!

We would like to say a massive thank you to the children, staff and parents of Salterlee Primary School, who have been hugely supportive over the past few months!

Following on from a talk back in January from Rachael about what we do and the animals in our care, the children worked together and collected a wonderful selection of cat and dog food (decorated in the shape of a heart!) and wrote some really heartwarming ‘Valentails’ for some of our residents looking for new homes!

They also held a bake sale over Easter and raised a whopping £134 for our animal centre, as well as collecting some fantastic donations for the cats, dogs and small animals in our care, and teddies for our fundraising stall!

Everyone got to meet Ferris the staff dog, and she got lots of fuss, while showing the students how to approach a dog you’ve never met before.
