UK Government Bans Live Animal Exports

After decades of campaigning, millions of signatures on petitions, thousands of people attending protest marches, and countless demonstrations at UK ports, the UK Government has banned live animal exports from Great Britain.

This means British animals will soon be spared gruelling journeys – some lasting for more than 100 hours. Exported abroad in cramped and poor conditions, farmed animals suffer mental exhaustion, physical injury, hunger, dehydration, severe stress and even death.

More info can be found on the National RSPCA’s post, here.
