We’re hiring: Full-time Canine Training & Behaviour Advisor
Vacancy – Canine Training & Behaviour Advisor
Salary £24,316.50 per Annum, based on 37.5 hours per week.
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in animal handling and training, preferably in a welfare or rescue environment and should be able to demonstrate sound up to date knowledge, both practical and theoretical in pet behaviour, training, and modification techniques. With a minimum A level standard education and working toward a professional behaviour qualification or ideally a qualification to membership of professional body.
You will need to possess excellent organisation skills, be computer literate and have experience of using MS Office. Candidates will also have the ability to communicate fluently and effectively with others at all levels both verbally and in writing.
With the ability to deliver training and produce training materials as required. You will be highly motivated and able to work under pressure using your own initiative whilst retaining a good sense of humour. You will be empathetic towards others in, sometimes, difficult circumstances, when providing telephone and face to face advice to resolve or prevent behaviour problems.
Driving Licence is essential.
