Our First Vintage Fair!
If you’ve ever been to an RSPCA shop and wondered where all the funky old antiques go, you might be interested to know that our specially trained team of Antiques Magpies (also known as the Ebay team!) spend hours picking over all your donations and squirrelling them away to be sold on our eBay shop.
However, last weekend, we decided to take some of our antiques out into their natural habitat and try our hand at something new for our branch- a vintage fair! We took the cream of this particular crop out to West Yorkshires favourite teetotal UNESCO site, Saltaire, for the Rose & Brown Saltaire Vintage Home & Fashion Fair.
We had a fabulous day, meeting the other stall holders, educating the people of Saltaire about our branch and what we do, all while raising vital funds for our animal centre and providing the northern part of our district with some top quality, old stuff!
It was an excellent day, and we can’t wait hopefully do it again some time!
