Volunteer Behaviour Assistant needed!

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

We currently have 1 position available for a volunteer to assist our canine behaviourist with Training Classes.

This will be a good opportunity for those who are wanting to learn more about dog training and to gain more experience around dogs.

This position requires a volunteer to attend each Tuesday evening from 5.45pm – 8pm at St Marks Church in Siddal.

This position will require someone who is happy to assist with helping to set up ready for the evening and help with the tidying up at the end of the sessions.

Under the guidance of our behaviourist, you will be required to monitor the dogs and owners, and ensure owners are happy with the exercise given.

You must be over 18 years of age for insurance purposes.

All volunteers must follow all health and safety rules and guidelines.

Candidates need to have the ability to communicate fluently and effectively with others at all levels both verbally and in writing.

You must be highly motivated and able to work under pressure.
