21 years of love and happiness for ex-resident Toby!

We’re so proud of the rehabilitation and rehoming work our branch does every single day – and one of the highlights for our dedicated members of staff, is receiving updates from adopters about how their new furry family member is settling in!…

So we were ecstatic to receive this very special update from Toby’s adopters to let us know that he had turned 21 years old in his forever home!…

“On January 16th 2002, we collected Toby from the
RSPCA Centre next to the Jagger Centre down Wade
Street in Halifax and he was 5 months old when we got
him. I thought it was in February we got him but the
diary and an old calendar clearly says January 16th
2002 which puts his birth date in the middle of August
2001 so he is 21 years old!! The key to the house! He
looks pretty good for his age and he ventures out a lot
in the warmer weather but is a housecat in the Winter.

He has a marvellous nature and temperament too!”

It’s amazing to think that our charity helped Toby find his perfect home for over 21 years- and we hope many more to come too!

If you would like to support the work that our local and self-funding RSPCA centre does why not become an animal sponsor? You’ll receive regular updates to let you know how your donation is helping, plus your very own certificate of sponsorship too!
