Dumped in a bin bag on a Huddersfield Canal – Locke, Ness & River the miracle kittens…

It’s a true miracle that these 3 beautiful kittens survived such a horrendous ordeal, after being found dumped in a bin bag by a member of the public and callously abandoned at the side of a Huddersfield Canal.

Fortunately it looks like they weren’t there long, as (although cold and scared) they seemed well and very grateful to have been rescued from such an awful situation.

We’re pleased to announce that after their initial veterinary checks, the beautiful trio were all in great health and have been enjoying cuddles, playtime and treats from our Cattery Team. They are full of life, love to play and our Animal Carers have totally fallen in love with these little fighters!

It doesn’t bear thinking about what could’ve happened had they not been found – but we’re ensuring they receive all the care they need before heading to their new forever homes. Locke, Ness & River will all be receiving their full vaccinations, microchips and neutering before starting their new lives, with loving forever humans who will make sure they never suffer abandonment, neglect or cruelty ever again!
