Happy Halloween & Zombie Walkies Success!

Happy Halloween everybody, we hope you all have a safe and spooktacular day! Here are our top tips for pet owners today…

? Try to walk your dog before it gets dark
? Pet costumes can be unsafe and likewise human costumes and decorations can be scary and distressing to our pets.
? Keep the sweeties out of reach – nearly all are very hazardous to animals
? To minimise door knocks, leave a bowl of goodies outside for trick-or-treaters, topping up when needed.
? Keep your pets calm by providing things like toys, kongs for dogs, leaving the TV/Radio on to drown out loud noises and grab some calming sprays/wipes/tablets diffusers to help ease anxiety (Such as Feliway, Pet Remedy, Adaptil etc.)
Head over to our online vet and pet shop to discover a whole range of amazing products to help manage your pets anxiety and stress, perfect for evenings such as Halloween and Bonfire Night: www.rspcahalifaxhuddersfieldbradford.org.uk/shop/
We would also like to say a big thank you to all of our Zombie Walkies participants who joined us and Huddersfield BID yesterday, on our interactive trick-or-treat walk across Huddersfield Centre yesterday and for joining us at the Lawrence Batley Theatre to finish up with some ghoulishly good fun at our after party!
The event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the following businesses…
Check out some of our photos below, with more to come later in the week – we hope you all had as much fun as we did!
