Public statement – we’re temporarily closed for adoptions

We have recently been made aware of canine Parvovirus cases in our local area. Sadly, due to this – we have had to close our Animal Centre to the public. Our Vet and Pet Shop will remain open to customers – but we politely ask that no dogs enter the shop floor.

All animal adoptions and meet & greets will also cease until we are certain that we can safely re-open to the public, without putting our animals at risk of the virus.

We will still be accepting and responding to adoption applications, however no Animal Centre visits will take place until we’re safely able to re-open. We will of course announce on our website as soon normal procedures can resume and our staff are increasing barrier care and extensive cleaning procedures, to reduce any possible risk to the dogs in our care.

If you have any further questions or enquiries, please contact our Animal Centre Team on 01422 365628 or email Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we put the safety of our animals as an immediate priority.
