The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield Bradford & District Branch is looking for an a passionate, adaptable and people-focused person to join our fundraising team. You will be forward-thinking, adaptable and enjoy working as part of a dedicated team of fundraisers.
The role is all about building relationships with our supporters and you must be skilled at communicating by email and by telephone. This role is key to our development of supporter engagement and you will be able to form connections with colleagues and supporters at all levels.
You will need to be empathetic, supporter-focused and ideally have experience in a customer-service environment. You will have exceptional attention to detail and good organisational skills and you must have a passion for animal welfare.
The role is office based with occasional work at our animal centre. You will be joining a high performing team who are self-motivated, enthusiastic and an integral part of our branch.
Job Purpose
To ensure our supporter database is updated accurately with all our supporter activity. Ensure all donations are thanked in line with the branch donation policy. To liaise with the finance officer and fundraising team to supply information to support financial accounting and fundraising as required. To develop the database to ensure it remains a usable platform to communicate with our supporters and to nurture their future interactions with the branch.
The role will work from the Branch office and focus on the following key areas
- Supporter thank yous – Ensuring all our supporters activities and donations are thanked in line with the Branch donation policy
- Database (CRM) – Complete all donor administration maintaining accurate records or all donor interactions and contact
- Communication – Use the inbuilt e shot software to design and build email communication as required by the Branch manager and the fundraising team.
- Legacy development – Ensure all legacy activity is coordinated through the CRM database
- Administration- Provide the finance office and fundraising team with administration and telephone support.
The Person
You will have a good level of education, excellent IT skills, experience of using a database is desirable.
The successful candidate will be good at forming relationships at all levels, be a team player, have excellent customer service, be people focused and forward thinking. They will be able to deliver results and confident working on their own or as part of a team.
Interviews
Interviews for this positions will take place on the 20th and 21st of February. The interviews will be a face to face interview, candidates will be contacted with invites after the 1st of February up until the closing date – the job may close early if there is a high level of applicants.
