Home Visitor

The aim of the RSPCA is that all healthy unwanted animals which come into its care should be found new homes where a healthy and happy lifestyle appropriate to their species can reasonably be assured.

In order to establish the suitability of potential homes, the RSPCA has a policy of operating a home checking procedure.

Home visitors have to be over 18 years of age and able to drive.

New home visitors will be required to attend a one-day training course. After this course new visitors will be given training by Our rehoming team which will involve accompanying and observing experienced home visitors until confident.

Regular meetings are arranged giving home visitors the chance of further training and an opportunity to exchange experiences.

Our team has grown over the last few years.

Not only do we have fun, we are dedicated to constantly improving our home visiting system and would welcome new ideas and people.
